  1. Hi, The second stage part was lodged early January with all the necessary docs uploaded. Seems illogical to have to wait so long to be granted permanent residency.Youd think immigration would want to know sooner rather than later if the relationship was ongoing.
  2. Hi, Does anyone know how long the final stage(100) of the 309 visa takes to process?
  3. Hi, We had CF, our flights are booked for 14/10/15 today so last week we emailed our CO and hey presto the grant was issued 3 days later, i think after 9 months if you can show you have a flight booked it might help getting the visa through, providing its a clear cut case.
  4. Its here! Got the 309 through this morning. 9 months 6days. Cant quite believe its happened. Im elated to say the least. Come on Snowy!
  5. Hi, yes we got the evisitor visa back in June when the tickets were bought.
  6. Hi, No Live Trace means there is something there but its ols info. Your CO will ask you for more details of past history. I think you need to apply for a Public Access Request to satisfy immi. If it had come back No Trace then youd be good to go.
  7. We emailed CO on Thursday letting him know we were leaving for Melbourne on 14th October and asked about the grant. He replied directly to us and said he would let us know.
  8. Hi, i think the answer to your questions is no. Each adult applicant has to apply on their own and it depends which country they are coming from. Take a look at this link. http://www.sydneycloseup.com/australian-holiday-visas.html
  9. Hi, Thats a bit late in the day. Sounds as those they are very lazy in checking details after 9 months or not competent.
  10. Hi, The credit system works a bit different in Australia as you start with a clean sheet. However the clean sheet puts you at the top. When you first go for credit a new file will be open for you and from then you are able to apply for further credit. As long as you have a job a permanent address and id you shouldnt have much trouble getting some initial form of credit. If you have a largish deposit you should be able to obtain a mortage within 3- 6 months. ( personal experience) please note that if you have to much available credit, ie $10,000 available on a credit card then this will reduce your borrowing amount regardless if you use up to the limit. In Australia you dont have to wait 3 years as a resident to get credit as you do in the UK.
