Just arrived in Brisbane and I'm looking for fruit picking/farm work. i will be referring to the harvest trail to know what is in season and where, but does anyone know where the best place is at the moment with most jobs available? thanks

Can anyone recommend any hostels in Brisbane? Arriving 22nd March, and looking to book a few of nights in a hostel until I get things organised. Had a look at reviews online, but hard to tell which is actually best & best value for money. Preferrably looking for somewhere cheap with wifi

I've seen a lot of jobs advertised on Gumtree such as 'Data Gatherers' 'Appointment Setters' 'Sales' & 'Fundraising' mostly for Electrical companies, all offering good money with no experience needed etc etc Has anyone had any experience with any of these companies? And is there really money to be made in these jobs? Cheers,

Im not too fussed to be honest, probably in the city to begin with. Beach would be cool too, but was hoping to get some farm work/fruit picking so may not be in the city that long

Hi, Flying to Brisbane 22nd March. I was looking to book a hostel for a week or so before we arrive. Time to settle in and start the job hunt. Can anyone reccomend any cheap hostels to stay in? Or would it be better to look for a house share? and if so where is the best place to look? (had a quick look on gumtree) Thanks

Hi, I am travelling to Brisbane on 22nd March from Scotland on a years working holiday visa. I am looking to get into work pretty quickly, and i've been having a look myself at the moment. I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on where is best to look for jobs in rural areas, or farm work/fruit picking, and can jobs like this be secured before I arrive? I will be staying in a hostel in Brisbane for a week or so, whilst looking for a job, then will obviously be willing to travel in order to find work. Any help/advice will be appreciated, Thanks
