Once you complete your application, the system directs you to attach the files separately. You have time until a CO is assigned to attach all docs. There is a file size limitation of 5mb. Its hood to keep note of that.

Hi Shiffu, A very merry Christmas to you too.. Thanks for the speedy response. What I was hoping to do was, get my wife to submit her application. Since the application will not be processed immediately. This will give me time to find a job and then attach my proof of employment later on to her online visa submission. I hope the online system allows me to submit the supporting documents after the online visa application is submitted. Cheers, bmap

Hi all, I have a question regarding Partner Visa 309. Hope someone will be able to help me out. I am a PR holder in Australia, currently residing in Australia. However only been here for only a month. Therefore, I am still seeking employment. My wife and I are hoping to lodge her Partner visa application within this week, wanted to know if me not being employed currently would affect my wife's Partner visa processing in any way. Since it has been only a month since i got here, im sure i will be able to get a job within the next couple of weeks. However, I am also able to show a reasonable amount as savings, that I can show as proof saying I am able to support my wife for a reasonable timeframe even without a job. Pls let me know if this would be an issue or if there is a work around for this. Cheers, BMAP

It was my education transcripts the CO wanted.. The first entry date is before mid Dec... Not sure if there is a correlation between the medical date n the final entry date..

I lodged mine on the 4th Dec.. Then the doc status changed to received on the 6th Jan.. The case officer contacted me on the 30th Jan requesting for additional info.. I provided the info within an hour and the visa was granted the same day. So I presume.. A CO was allocated for my application. But wld only contact u if they need additional info. If not u should get a mail with the direct grant. For all we know, your case must be currently being assessed. You are not far behind.. So u should hear from ur CO one of these days.. I booked and uploaded all documents in advance... PCC as well as my medicals.. So when I a CO is assigned, the person only has to assess your documents.. Rather than request for the missing docs..
