  1. Hi, after advise, I have been working for my employer 16 months since I got my PR on the 187. I have been with the company over 5 years and was moved to another site 10 months ago. My contract hasn’t been adhered to and my boss is making it very hard for me to earn what I was earning so my family and I have taken a huge reduction in pay which is now putting financial stress on us. He refuses holiday when I try to take it too. I have been offered another job not within the company, will this affect my visa and lead it to be cancelled or do I have a case for this? Has anyone else been through this? Above is the short version of events but the main of what is happening. I just don’t know which way to turn!!!
  2. Maybe it is because your medicals are out of date jess6! A friend of ours submitted their application 'decision ready' with medicals that had she done before and within an hour of the nomination and application processed by her Ma she was granted her PR! I still wonder if we had done our medicals back in march would we have found out sooner?!?!
  3. Sorry it's just taken a while settle in! I wasn't expecting to hear anything for a few months at least!!!! Yep that's us, couldn't remember exact dates etc!!! so in my experience....... we had a 457 and transitioned from there to a permanent residency visa. We used a migration agent as it was a lot of money to invest and we wanted to make sure everything was perfect. In hindsight it's the best decision we made. We did our medicals a week ago and then granted our PR 8 days later. One wonders if we had done our medicals in march it may have been 8 days from then or sooner than today. Using a migration agent meant our application was 'decision ready' so no delays for further information etc. The only delay for us was between the nomination and visa as we didn't apply at the same time incase it didn't get approved and we would have lost a lot of money. I hope this information helps those who are waiting and those who are ready to apply soon. Please also be careful of what you are charged by an migration agent. Ours was $2200 and we would recommend to anyone. They have been there for us from sorting our 457 visa until today. Its great to see the people I spoke to 4 years ago today have PR, we were all waiting on our 457 to be approved this time 4 years ago! Good luck to you all still waiting for that PR grant notification. I wish you all the very best in luck, health and wealth! Straya mates!!!
  4. Our PR have just been granted!!!!!!!!!! Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyy! Good luck to everyone on here. I hope you all get the good news soon.

  10. Does anyone know the visa conditions on 187 visa? Is it true you HAVE the two year condition on the visa to stay with nominated employer for two years???
  11. At the end of the day it will or will not happen one day. Don't stress about it. Enjoy life in the moment.
