Yes that right but there will a little catch... The rule says you should have appeared for test.. That mean you can sit for exam and before you get results if you wish you are eligible to apply "The IELTS test must be completed within the 3-year period immediately before you apply for your visa."

Just gooooooot grant email. It was a good suprise for us as we were not aware of CO allocation to our case. Here are my timelines Processing Center : Parametta Non Decision Ready RSMS (187) RCB Approved in June 2012 Nomination applied in June 2012 Nomination approved in 23 Sep 2012 Visa 187 applied in 29 Sep 2012 Co Allocated 16 Nov 2012 Visa Application Withdraw 8 Dec 2012 (Since IELTS exam was not taken before Applying) Visa 187 Reapplied in 28 Dec 2012 Medicals done on 20-Jan-2013 Co allocated - Not Known Grant - 15 Apr 2013

Hi All i recently joined this forum and read most of the stories and situations.. I feel I am in the same boat and feeling the same.. However my story is little different.. My nomination was approved in sep 2012 and applied for 187 in the same month (Parametta center). Got ack in nov 2012 and also co. Co asked for medical and form 80. We replied in dec early and co noticed that I had not taken ielts exam before applying. So unfortunately I had to withdraw. I again applied in last week of dec and still waiting for co so as everyone points out... It is mere luck and god's grace... Wishing everyone on this forum a very goooood luck.... thanks
