  1. I recently shipped my dog back to the uk without using a transport company. I'm happy to help anyone who wants to do the same. Alison
  2. We have for sale ; A Brown leather Natuzzi sofa and 2 armchairs $390 A 2003 Kia Sportage silver car. $4,600 A Telstra T-Hub 2 that has a tablet and a phone $150 A Euromaid Washing Machine (only 5 months old) £180 We are in Alexandra Hills, south east of Brisbane.
  3. We brought our dog from UK to Perth 6 months ago and he was absolutely fine. He is flying back to UK tomorrow and I won't be worrying so much this time. I believe they don't sedate dogs because they could cause a problem and they can't check on the dog whilst in flight. My dog doesn't like loud noises but I think being in the crate might make them feel safe.
  4. I think James cargo (the company that processes dogs through Heathrow) transport pets onwards.
  5. If you could email me the C5 that would be great thanks Bob. PM me contact details. I actually meant to put Daff Bio, funny that it should come out as 'daft' without me realizing it. Alison
  6. We brought our dog out to oz 6 months ago. He had his rabies jab and blood test before he came but we didn't actually get him a pet passport. We are now in the process of starting to organise sending him back and have a few queries. We are trying to find out what the following are, if we need them and where we get them from. 1. A pets 3 form 2. Owners residency form 3. Form c5. We had an email from Qantas freight titled UK pets scheme that listed these but Qantas have no idea what they are and neither do Daft Bio. Any help would be appreciated. Alison
  7. Mamamegs, Can you tell me the name of the place that took your crates. We couldn't quite get to Hibiscus Street as they were doing roadworks. The guy in the virgin pet drop off round the corner didn't seem to know what i was talking about. Thanks, Alison
  8. You can ring the freight department at Qantas and they will e-mail you the information on the IATA standards. You can read through it and check yourself that the crate complies with the rules. I can't see any reason why it shouldn't do. Alison
  9. I spoke to Qantas and they said it would be ok if it was a bit bigger but don't think a smaller one will be accepted. Thanks for the reply anyway! Found one on gumtree but awaiting a reply.
  10. Dogs crate size on the way over was 115x59x84cm. I will try Jetpets but I think that is for domestic flights. He is going to be flying with Qantas which is the same as on the way over here. I think the crate was made of plywood. Thanks for the responses Alison
  11. We are returning to the uk and planning to send our dog back from Brisbane with Qantas in January. We are looking for somebody who has kept their crate and now wants to sell it. Thanks, Alison
