    thanks for the reply's everyone the contract is not helpful nothing in it about handing back and it was a personal loan and the car is in mint condition but only had it 8 months I will call them and see what they say many thanks

    hi people after some info things looking bad there is a big chance I could be made redundant and looking round there is no work out there for my skill set so it looks like we could be moving back to the uk my question is I have a car on finance/personal load can I hand the car back to the company or have I to sell it and pay off the company as if I sell it it wont make the amount owed and with my redundancy pay will cover flights ant advice would be great thanks

    Thsnks for all the advice people I have just recived a email from immi with my visa I applyed for the 820 temp visa but they granted me the 801 permrnant visa so happy Thanks everyone and good look to all thoughs waiting

    Hi what visa are you on at the momment I have bee married for 10 years to an aussie I am currently on a 457 visa ans have applyed for a 820 partner visa But I have not been told anything about having to be offshore when visa is granted Thanks alan

    Im in the same boat as you ronan my wife is aussie we been married 10 years but im all ready in oz it took 5 weeks for me to receive a conformation letter and I have been told it can take 9 to 13 months for it to be processed not sure if different time frame onshore/offshore

    Yes I believe so was just asking as I have an email saying that once all paperworks are received I will be assigned a case office but my application was sent in as decision Ready

    Hi all are you all applying offshore if not what state are you in. I applied for my partner visa Onshore in December but still not received it I only just received a CO last week. believe it takes a lot longer onshore.

    Hi littlekitty I have applied for 820 in December 2013 and I the same handed it in at perth office and nothing was said about it not aloud to be handed in. have received your visa yet

    I spoke to immi over the same thing as in the immigration partner hand book it states that if you have been married over 5 year and have children together you bypass the temp visa and get full visa entitlement straight away and they confirmed that it is right
