Hi maimenon, Thank you It was simple, when I first went for medical, they told me that I had to much protein in my Urine and they wanted to me to get some extra tests done by a specialist. The doctor told me about it, and I read on immigration's website as well about how and why are medicals graded.. Cheers

Hello Srikanth, First of all, DIAC has many offices within Australia and Adelaide and Brisbane Specialise in General Skilled Migration. As like many other people I did not had enough patience to just sit and wait, so I contacted immigration as soon as the 5 weeks were over. At that time immigration people told me that my file was allocated to GSM Team 33 from Brisbane. They also informed me that CO was not allocated at that time and will be allocated Shortly. After that I did not made any contact with immigration and just waited for the CO to get in touch with me. So after 2 months wait is over and I got PR. CO never contacted me for anything as I had provided all the documents upfront. Hope this answers your question

Hi Srikanth GSM- General Skilled Migration - Team 33 is the team to which my file was assigned and Brisbane (City) is DIAC office where that team is from Hope that helps.. don't worry. It took my 2 months and 2 days from the date on which I filled my application. All my documents were uploaded beforehand, so I did not hear anything from the CO at all until the golden letter came through. Good luck and you will hear something soon as well.

Alright Finally the Golden Ticket Has landed.. got email today around 11am Perth time. No contact from CO at all, direct PR. Goodman, I am an on shore applicant and in Perth these days. I live in Adelaide for 7 years. so have some good memories with that place but I guess Perth is the place for me now any one who is still waiting.. good luck.. and keep patience

Hey Ankush, All I know is that a CO was allocated to my file on 19 august. I came to know that after contacting Immigration, however I have not heard anything since the Lodgement of my application. Hopefully things will go quicker from here onwards.

I guess there is nothing wrong in expecting a contact from CO. As like anyone else, I am possibly bit impatient. How long it can possibly take as per your knowledge to screen through a application.

Another week gone, still no news... Contacted immigration again this week and they informed me that CO has not been in touch with you so far. "I was like, yes I know and that's the reason I am calling you" Operator said at the moment it does not look like that we are waiting on any documents from your side, however final call will be made by the CO. Processing time for 190 is 6 months therefor CO can contact you anytime within the time frame if required or made a decision on the basis of information provided. Waiting sucks... even though waiting patiently ... sort offfffffff

Hey Guys, Contacted Immigration this morning, They informed me that CO was allocated to my file yesterday 21/08.13, but no contact from CO. Waiting to hear something anxiously.

Hey Dugles, My understanding is for offshore applicants VEVO gets activated on arrival because that is when Technically your visa starts, from the day of arrival.
