I am currently working in WA ,here on a 457 visa,is there a time scale that I have to adhere to before I could start applying for a pr,my company have told me 2 years is this correct?

Lodged my 457 on 5/6/12 was done and returned in ten days ,fly out 31 July ,happy but soooo much to sort,looking forward to seeing the sun set on the Indian ocean in Perth.

Visa granted today,all the hard work has paid off,Perth here I come yeahhhhh

Mine came back in 3 days start to finish very good service

My 457 visa was lodged on 4/06/12 have got my trn number have checked on line and it is been processed ,I have made a prelimary booking for my medical/ X-ray ,am I right in thinking that I will defiantly need it or should I wait for the diac to tell me so. Do not want to spend the money if it's not required and also is it only good for a certain period of time,any help please!!
