Even the address you gave when you applied PR is different from when you are about to apply citizenship. You only need to inform the department in case you change address during the process of your citizenship application as the wait time for the whole process of citizenship is quite long from test appointment to ceremony. Some people do change their address and it's important to inform the change so your name for the ceremony will be on the appropriate council. My guess is maybe you are worried because you have certain conditions in your grant letter of PR visa to inform the department of change of circumstance inc address ( Rsms or state sponsorship) in that case, I would say no as well. I got Rsms visa and when I applied my citizenship, I just use my new address which is different from the one In my pr application and I didn't inform the department before or do anything. Now I got my citizenship approval already and waiting for the ceremony. So don't worry. It's not gonna harm you application if you don't do anything wrong or breaks the rules.

I appreciate for the answers you are giving but once Again what I am asking here is The guy has different add on Citizen appl , which is not the same add when he had the permanent visa... He changes in te period between but didn't informe immi, now when He applied citizenship with his new Add mentioned on the application but before He hasn't informed of Change of his address. So is it Gona harm in anyway that the add different from when he had pr visa till currently appl citizen with new Add on appli. Thanks

When he apply citizenship he has moved to different address but havent informed the add change to immi so does he has provid add change to info before applying citizen... Would b great if any one can advise the best answer to , is it compulsory for one to inform immi for the change of add means the one add given At the time of applying citizen is dif from the time of add given at when applied pr. hey every1:biggrin: just want to share the happiest day of ma life, i got my 119 GRANTED this afternoon. I am so sorry for the late post, actually being weekend it was busy at ma work place and beside that i m been busy n booking tickets to be offshore. Once again i would like to thank each and every person on pomsinoz who had been giving right decision and direction to move on life, i think that without pomsinoz my life would have been more stressful than it was. But finally happy ending, new life begins!!! and best of luck to all other members who is been waiting for a long time, i m pretty sure u will get it soon either tommrow or day after but u will. thx once again sambo

hey i m n the same situation as urs.... lodged at melb in feb beginning, 9 months passed and until now there is nothing i have heard about it..whenever i call immi, same answer w88888888888 and even my agent never reply to my email...so frustating but no choice except w8.... so w8 and b happy :- )
