  1. Hi Experts, I found the below requirement of partner skills from where I can claim 5 points. But I cannot understand the 3rd line. I am from IT Background and she is from Pharmacy background. My question is - 1) In SOL list, I found my ANZSCO Code as nominated occupation, so my spouse's ANZSCO code as nominated occupation has to be there in the same SOL list? Or her nominated occupation must be same with my nomination occupation? 2) Lastly, she has no job experience in pharmacy field. Does it require for her assessment and claiming 5 points? """ Partner skills You can receive five points if, when you are invited to apply for this visa, your partner provides evidence that they: - were under 50 years of age - had at least competent English - had nominated an occupation on the same skilled occupation list as your nominated occupation - had been assessed by the relevant assessing authority as having suitable skills for the nominated occupation. """"" Thanks Shooter
  2. Thanks wrussell. Another question. If I get sign from Supervisor on Employer Reference Letter, would it be enough ? Or it has to be signed by Company HR ? Please suggest. Regards Shooter
  3. Hi Experts, I Graduated in Bachelor of Science (Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science) from Bangalore University, India in 2003 and after that since Jan'2005 I have 10.5 years of working experience in IT sector and still working. If I apply for Skill Assessment to ACS, shall my working experience be assessed as 10.5 years or ACS authority will deduct first 2 years of working experience to meet the suitability criteria and award 8.5 years experience? Please share your experience. Regards Shooter
  4. Since DIBP mentioned that Skill Assessment will only be valid for a period of three years, I think I shall have 1 year more validity period after ACS expiration date 16th April'2015 ,so that I can apply EOI with my recent IELTS score. Correct me if I am wrong. Regards Shooter
  5. Hi Experts, I have a ACS Skill Assessment result dated on 16th April'2013 under ANZSCO 263111 (Computer Network and Systems Engineer) with 8 Years and 1 months experience. Since they mentioned the validity period of 24 months from the date of issue, I think it has been expired on 16th April'2015. But according to DIBP, they said the following message: "From 1 July 2014, if a skills assessment is mandatory as part of a visa application, that assessment will only be valid for a period of three years from the date of issue, unless a shorter validity period is specified on the assessment." Link is here - http://www.immi.gov.au/news/pages/new-validity-requirement-skills-assessments.aspx Now, can you tell me, shall I get another 1 year validity period of ACS assessment result though its 24 months period is over ? Thanks and regards Shooter
  6. Hi, I have a query. My occupational code is ANZSCO 263111 ( Computer network and systems engineer ). Currently I am having 60 points if I get IELTS score 6 in each band. If I apply EOI under Subclass 190 (Western Australia state sponsorship), it will add extra 5 points in the EOI. So total points will be 65. The thing is that, on 12-Jan-2014, I will lose 5 points from the Age limit in EOI system and it will down to 60 points. For this reason, shall the state migration authority or DIAC refuse the state sponsorship or Invatation to Apply (ITA)? or, after getting state sponsorship and ITA, shall the Case Officer refuse the visa application process due to points reduc in EOI stage? Please any experienced person can give opinion.
  7. Thanks pilotg2. I also sent the same query to Skilled Migration WA and got the below reply. """"" Dear XXXXXX Thank you for your email. Schedule 2 occupations listed on the 2013-2014 WASMOL will need to meet the Criteria for State Sponsorship 2012-2013 Off-List criteria including an offer of employment in WA. See how to apply for State nomination for more information. As part of the State nomination criteria, all Australian graduates and applicants living and working in an Australian state or territory other than Western Australia require a job offer. The offer must be full time in your nominated or closely related occupation, in your nominated region and for a minimum of one year. """ It seems that now I can apply WA state sponsorship using the ANZSCO 263111 ( Computer network and systems engineer ) without any job offer.
  8. Adonna, I am from outside Australia. I have done my skill assessment from ACS under the ANZSCO 263111 ( Computer network and systems engineer ) few months ago. I found this occupation in this link http://www.migration.wa.gov.au/skilledmigration/Pages/Occupationsindemand.aspx - Western Australia Migration site. In the last column it is not mentioned as Schedule 2. In this case, do I need a job offer to get state sponsorship (subclass 190) or visa (subclass 190) ?
  9. Sorry adeeb for late reply. I have B.Sc. Computer Science and it has been accepted to ACS Skill Assessment (ANZSCO Code - 263111 Computer Network and Systems Engineer).
  10. Dear friends, I have old IELTS score (General, S-6,R-6.5,L-6,W-6) achieved on Dec'2009. Recently in April'2013 I appeared the IELTS exam again and got S-6,R-5.5,L-6,W-6 . But I need 6 in each section. Now, can I submit my old IELTS score to EOI application? What is the validity period for this IELTS Score? Please suggest.
  11. Today I got the Positive Skill Assessment result from ACS
  12. It will work or not I am not sure. You check the ACS Guideline. Any expert can put suggestion here.
