You don't see me commenting any where in this forum much and I cant figure out what's the point of lying here about someone got a CO. Anyway.... Hi all, I just wanted to share some good news with you as I know how it feels being on hold for unknown period of time. I was there for almost 3.5 years but thankfully I got the golden email 8 months ago. Anyways, a friend of mine just got CO on Friday Afternoon. He applied on March 2011 and they only asked for Medical and updated AFP. He is from HR country. The subclass of the visa was 885. I hope this news brings a positive energy and make all of you hopeful.... Thanks

It seems we are going to have a long wait. I will be eligible in Feb 2014 . I was hoping to get it at most in 3 to 4 months. However based on the fact that there are lots of people applying for citizenship I'm hoping to get it in 6 months Damnnnnnnn

Hi All, Finally after almost 3.5 years I got my PR. I thought my timeline may be a little bit of help, so here it is : Applied 886 State sponsor in September 2009 Occupation removed from the SMP in 2009 (Don’t remember exactly what date) so my case felt down under category 5 Occupation added to SMP in November 2011 CO allocated December 2011 form 80 requested December 2011 further information requested on June 2012 Medicals frontloaded in November 2012 PCC requested In February 2013 Visa Grant 5 days after PCC submitted Therefore guys, just don’t lose hope even if you have already waited for a long time. It will be granted no matter what. I always was a silent member of this forum except couple of times that I asked some question and got no answer for it :wink:.I was addicted to this forum and used to check it out more than 10 times a day. Hi All, Just wanted to let you know I got PCC & Proof of genuine relationship request yesterday. Please see my Timeline and more details below: Lodged 886 SS September 2009 (My case went down to Priority 5 as my occupation dropped from the SMP list) Occupation listed under SMP in November 2011 again CO allocated in December 2011 CO requested updated form 80 right after allocation Nothing happened since then until last week I asked my agent to have a chat with my CO. Surprisingly she actually contacted my CO. CO said he is waiting for SC outcome and they are contacting ASIO to obtain it ASAP. Yesterday CO asked for Evidence of genuine relationship as my Spouse is in my application, as well as updated AFP. Please note I front loaded MEDS and back home PCC 3 months ago. In terms of relationship evidence I sent our lease agreement and a joint bank account. My CO is from team 8 and I have seen lots of activities from this team. Hope to get my PR soon. I have a quick question. I just applied for AFP certificate 2 days ago online and paid the fee by credit card. I also sent the supporting documents by email to them as stated in their acknowledgment email they sent me after the payment was processed. Has anyone done that before? Do you know how long will it take? Any comment is much appreciated.

Congrats ( Mobarak bashe ) By the way you are very lucky Iranian National who got the GRANT in 10 month. I'm the proper example here. It took more than a year for checks and its to be continued. Enjoy your day

Thanks King Khan for the reply. First of all I want to correct my statement. I got CO on 31 of October not November, so It’s already more than 1 year. What do you suggest me to do? I have already lodged a complaint with IGIS and the result was as usual “Your case is being process through expected channels " and they stated that if I don’t get my PR until April 2013 I can lodge another complaint. Really don’t know what to do. My agent informed me last week that your internal checks are done and we still waiting for the external checks to complete. She said there is nothing we can do at this stage. Please let me know if you think there is ANYTHING that I can do. Thank you in advance.

Hi everyone like many others , I'm a silent member of this forum who check this threat at least 3 times a day :-) Me & my wife applied for visa 886 state sponsor on September 2009.we got CO allocated on 31 October 2011 after some changes in SMP lists. They asked for form 80 right away and then nothing happened until 3 months ago when CO requested some additional information. since then again it was the waiting game until last week I decided to redo our medicals cause the first one was expired more than 2 years ago. The CO has asked for so many additional information since 3 months ago. Today I called my agent in order to give her the new reference numbers for our medical. She informed me that CO again has requested some info , which they already provided and now the internal checks are done and they are reviewing the case . my question is what does it really mean? Is internal check same as external ?? Can any one predict how far we are to get the PR granted?? Im thanking all of you in advance for any comment . cheers
