Hi I have just been granted my permanent residency and will be moving to a new job in NSW. I am presently in Victoria. Can anyone please advise me of the process I need to undertake to transfer my license over to a NSW one. Do I need to get any confirmation from the DVLA in the UK re my existing licence? Thanks for your help

I am onshore so I wouldn't say it makes for a faster processing time perhaps maybe reflective of what team you are allocated to and workload of your case officer.

I had this on my online application : 'The health examinations required for this applicant have not yet been determined. Your case will be referred to a case officer to determine if further health is required. This page will be updated with advice regarding whether health examinations are required to be undertaken. Please note that this will not occur until a case officer investigates your case in line with published processing times for the visa that you have applied for.' I decided to email my case officer this morning to establish what it meant. He emailed back stating my medicals meet the health requirements and to ignore the notification! So it does pay to contact your case officer if you have any queries. Hopefully I'll get my grant soon! Well done on those who have got the big PR! :wink:

Hi I'm from the UK. I was asked to submit tax documents which I finally received and uploaded on 19/8/2013. The wait continues....

Hi I contacted my CO to confirm they had actually received my medicals which they had. He updated my documents received to show this accordingly. Good luck!
