  1. Thanks, Below mentioned definition of member of family unit is the reason of my confusion. https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/help-support/glossary "For visa purposes, you are a member of the main applicant's family unit if you are: the main applicant's spouse or de facto partner the main applicant's child, or their partner's child, who is not engaged, married or in a de facto relationship and is: aged under 18 years, or aged 18 to 23 years and dependent on the main applicant or the main applicant's partner, or aged 23 years or older and dependent on the main applicant or the main applicant's partner due to a partial or total physical or mental disability the dependent child of the child above"
  2. Hello Everyone, hope you are doing well. I am applying for my Mum's onshore aged parent visa subclass 804. There are some questions which are causing confusion . really appreciate if some one has enough knowledge or experience to guide me towards right direction. 1- In Form 47PA -> Part H Question 57 "Give details of ALL your and/or your partner’s family unit members aged 18 years or over. Only include passport details for those family unit members migrating with you. Each member of the family unit aged 18 years or over listed below, whether they are migrating or not, must also complete a form 47A Details of child or other dependent family member aged 18 years or over." My understanding is, we do not need to fill up the details of family members who are Over 23 independent/non migrating/married. and off course we do not need to submit Form 47A for them. Please correct me, if I am wrong. 2- We will only provide details of all Children in Part J - Details of Other Family members Question 60 where it says Your Children (including step children from both current and previous marriages/relationships and the Child sponsoring this application) Do let me know, If I am wrong Please. Cheers,
  3. AAT hearing for my wife = 18 may 2018 case remitted back = 22 may 18 pcc / med request = 5 june 18 docs uploaded = 15 june 18 visa grant = 5 july 18 hope it helps
  4. yes you can apply, there is no restriction of one year relationship if you are applying for 309 ....
  5. you can say that for USA where there is a processing time difference between citizen and green card holder sponsor but in Australia there is nothing like that. I was Australian citizen and my some of my friends were citizens when they sponsored there spouses and all of us went through same long processing.
  6. go to this thread, the majority of the applicants are from PAKISTAN
  7. no one has any idea about how long it will take ... the estimated timeframe has already been discussed and shared by the members. which is 14-19 months roughly and could be more than that if there are additional checks. I agree with @Nemesis that yes due to the additional applicant within your application. it will take extra time .... Apologies if you do not like it but it is how it is. and i would be thankful to some one who actually took sometime to think and share about there views ....
  8. He did the right thing, told you about another aspect of delays. don't forget you are here to ask/share timelines. and how can you expect that, he knows the exact timeframe ... adding a Parent is unusual and it attracts additional processing times.
  9. Totally wrong. There are SLA's and KPI which were strictly followed .. no one can just put a task aside only because S/he is annoyed ... may be in your Country people do this but no one in Australia, That's for sure ... why i know this? because i am familiar with the practice and work within same environment. @applicants Please note there are multiple factors which CO consider and they go through those case by case ... every application is different... if you think you want to make an official complaint then Please do ... No one will be annoyed .....
