  1. Hi guys, Yay, just got my visa today. So excited. Here's my timeline: HR, Offshore, Finance Field, Heading to Sydney NSW. Nomination Application: May 17th, 2016 Request for docs: June 30 Visa Lodged: June 30 Request for Medical Exams (Chest Xray & Examination) & Medical Insurance: Aug. 18 (medical check finished on Aug 19 and auto-transfer to DIBP on Aug 22) Nomination Approval: Aug. 23 Further docs requested for visa: Aug.30 and Submitted docs on Sep.7 Visa granted: Sep.27 Good luck to you all. Keep fighting, it's worth to wait.
  2. @MaggieMay24: Are you sure? If CO is processing a case, dont he/she check up database and find out applicant has already got a visa and thus, another visa should not be granted? I got info from Consulate General staff and they confirmed that There's the rule that one person can only have one visa at the time. They would not grant two visa for one person.
  3. @kieu: Yes, you can lodge visas as much as you want at the same time, as long as you are willing to pay all its fees. However, they will issue 1 type of visa for a person at the time. So, if your application for 457 would be approved, then they will automatically terminate yours 189 apllication.
  4. As you can see above, there're cases that took 4 months for nomination only. I feel a bit luck cause my nomination took 3 months n a week I wouldn't be surprised if my visa takes another 3 months @_@ Anyway, keep your finger crossed and fighting man. There's light in the other side of tunnel ^^
  5. 1. I'm Finance Broker and heading to Sydney. 2. Just Nomination Approved. Now waiting for visa approval. 3. Normal exams, nothing special, no blood test. Some pp has only chest xray but some other would asked to take health examination. I dont really get it. Maybe it depends on country or area.
  6. Hi dgqs, 1/ I'm Finance Consultant and heading to Sydney. 2/ Just Nomination approval. It tooks more than 3 months man. I doubt that there's another 3 months for visa @_@ The week before last week, CO sent email to my MA and ask for explaination on why do my boss choose me in stead of local worker? My MA had to send explaination letter to CO last week and now my case've just approved. 3/ It depends, some guy asked for chest xray only but some cases they asked for medical examination as well. Nothing much and did not suck blood for test. That's fine for me Anyway, all I can do now is get in line and cross my fingers ^^
