Thanks for that, yes hopefully there not asking for that as I think I would need to do an aqf3 to be eligible to get a skills assessment and so on! Ivr just emailed them asking if what I have would be suitable and will just have to wait and see what they say! cheers

hey all, so ive submitted my 457 visa along with my c.v and a work reference from a previous employer and obviously all my other bits and pieces passports etc. then just a couple of days ago my case worker requested my health insurance and also evidence of my skills? i have since uploaded lots of photos of my work and the health insurance but this is really all i have. i am a wall and floor tiler and have been in the job since i left school at 17! (16 years ago) but when i started there was no college course that i could go on it was all on the job training and didnt recieve any formal qualifications! really just wondering if anyone knows wether this would suffice or have i got the wrong end of the stick? any help would be great thanks

Thanks for that! I don't have any formal qualifications I am just going on my work experience, just wondering if the more evidence that I submit the better!

Hi guys, just uploading docs for 457 visa application I am a wall and floor tiler. my question is in the work experience evidence I have put in a reference from previous employer that covers the last 4 years but am wondering should I also upload photos of work I've done or just leave it at the reference? hi does anybody know if somebody from the uk needs skills assessed if they are being sponsored? and do they need to provide original trade papers or will proof of work experience in nominated category be all they ask for? dont know where my papers are and its been over 10 years so chances of getting them again is slim to non apparently!? thanks
