Hello everyone I applied for 189 visa on the 8th of January and was requested to go for medicals on the 20th of January. My 3 dependants got a status and it was stated as " All health examinations required for the specified visa subclass have been finalised. Processing of this person's visa application can now continue. This will not occur until a case officer investigates the case in line with published processing times for the visa that has been applied for. Do not contact the department about health examinations in the meantime". I had to go for a repeat urinalysis for 2 more time. After the last one, after a couple of days i finally got the same message against my health assessment. 1. Does it mean that our medicals are okay?. What also bothers me is the report i got from the panel doctor. He graded me as a B on the urinalysis. Will i get a referral or its done? Am worried.

Hie Perth 88. I supplied payslips, superannuation statement, reference letter from employer and a cv. No i did not pay any extras. The documentation you provide for your skills assessment is usually the same you provide for your visa. And the required documents are usually listed by your assessing authority. Like for me it was vetassess

Well if it was for millitary people am not sure but my partner and i received an email asking us to submit it for our 189 visa. I would say it is more like your form 80. It has a lot of military questions though

Sorry guys to be asking probably a silly question. What is a "direct grant"? What makes it different from just a visa grant. I tried googling but did not find anything .

Hello guys I am in the process of filling in forms for the 189 visa. There is the automatic form that you fill in as well as form 80 that you may be requested to fill in. I intend to migrate with my spouse and our 2 children. I am doing the application on my own of cause with help from you guys. I was wondering if there are any other forms that i need to fill in.like maybe relating to the children or anything else. Am trying to ensure that i get everything right. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

I am no expert bt this seems to suggest claiming 3 years. Am sure there are individuals who can provide more clarity on the forum

Lol, i thought i was very clear n very english. Nway, my major concern is on point 2 above. So we are sapposed to prove ur partner's english competency n we were provided with a couple of options n 1 of them is tht you cn provide proof tht he did hs education like a degree in english ryt. And ths is sapposed to be accompanied by a letter frm hs college where they attained the degree. So apparently i had nt yet collected ths letter to confirm from hs college. So my question is, can i stl do tht or its too late since i already got the invite. Wont ths be negative for my application? I hope i was clear ths tym arnd

Hey guys. I wld really appreciate your assistance on these 2 issues. 1. I got invites for both 189 & SS nominations yesterday. Am quote in between. Wc one is processed faster than the other? Cz either wat, my intended destination is the same. 2. N on the proof of english competency for yo partner, i cn prove tht my partner did a degree n masters in english bt then had nt yet gotten the letters of conformation frm hs college be4 the invite. Daz ths mean its too late for me to get the letter since i already got the invite n have to pay VAC2 or i wpd be regarded as someone who wld hev cheated since i cn only get the letter after the invitation? Wld greatly appreciate any response.
