I will be landing in Brisbane on Monday and will be looking to get general PPE. Hard hat, Hi vis, Work boots and all that ! Can anyone advise where is best to buy as looking online they are quite expensive !! Thanks

hi everyone my girlfriend and i fly to Brisbane on the 14th of August to start our WHV I have everything sorted but cant seem to find a good deal regarding travel insurance. Where is the best place to go ? And how much should i be paying ? Any advice would be of a great help as i really struggling with this ! Thanks ?

im flying to Oz in August and im just wondering if i should get my white card before i go or just get it when we are actually there, my girlfriend will also have to get her RSA to work in bars anyone got any suggestions ? cheeeeerrsssss

Basically i have just opened a migrant choice account with Westpac and i am looking to transfer funds before my arrival in Oz. Westpac offer to transfer funds with Westpac FX. Although i am unsure if i should use this service or Moneycorp to transfer my funds. ? Has anyone had any experience transferring money using either of these services . Any advice would be greatly appreciated :wacko:

Yes we are heading to Brisbane to find work and hopefully move around after that, very excited ! Still a few things to sort out but plenty of time to do it haha

Finally we have applied for our visas and hope to hear back soon, with any luck we will be flying out end of July . Anyone else got a similar plan ? Buzzzziiinnnggggg

Hi mate , my girlfried and i are also going at the end of July to Brisbane. We are taking £10,000 . Whats your accomodation plans ? we are looking at a hostel for 1 -2 weeks whilst we find an apartment.
