Hi all, Please can someone confirm if the above is true or not !!! I have been going down the route of a permanent visa for Australia, however I am now at my wits end regarding the English Test, I am an English, born and bread Podiatrist who cannot get a high enough score for the full 20 points which I need, in the mean time I have been offered a full time position in NZ which I have more than enough points to get in with, but my heart is in OZ, so I wanted to know am I right in thinking, if you live and work in NZ for 2 years you are then free to move to OZ without doing the English test to live and work ? Hi all, just wanting some information about a few areas in Queensland, I've managed to find work over in Oz by two different employers, my issue is which area offers a better life style for my family, one is based in Ipswich and the other is in Narangba / Burpengary. We are making the move over to Queensland with are dog (3 year old Jack Russell). It does seem quite costly shipping her out but at the end of the day she's part of our family, think my wife would rather leave me behind before the dog....lol. We are also looking at rentals there are a few about but does seem much more difficult with a pet. I wish you guys good luck with your move, hope it all works out well. Alan

Hi all I've been offered a job in Ipswich QLD, can anyone give me any details about the area, we are a family of 4 two children aged 10 and 13. I don't really want to be in a city area but would be will to travel up to 30 minutes drive or train journey, any tips and advice would be very welcome. MANY THANKS

Hi all new to Poms in Oz me and my family of four (me the wife and 2 girls aged 12 and 9,oh yeah and the dog!!) are hoping to make the move over this year, I've been offered a 457 sponsored visa, form a Podiatrist in Ipswich about 30 minutes from Brisbane.
