just wondering who send us the date for ceremony ,is it local council or DIBP ? did anybody here requested for urgent ceremony

hi citizen apply date :- 02-05-2016 test date:- 01-09-2016 approval:------------- citizenship ceremony:--------- i have to leave for India in December or end of November. i wont be able to come back until march for some circumstances . I am not sure what can i do to ask citizenship department to give me approval or ceremony date quicker because i wont be able to attend ceremony on 26 January. any suggestions?

i think they can sack you whenever they want ,but i m not sure

Hi I was on 457 visa and I was on private health care. I lodged for 187 visa on 18 of feb and they grant me visa on 29 of April . the next day I went on Medicare . Than I rang bupa and told them that I had lodged my visa on 18 of feb , can you refund me the money . And they said certainly . And within the week they transfer two months money into my account . No I haven't continue with bupa . I canceled it .

Iwas with bupa as well. I did not cancel it until I get my visa granted . Than I called bupa and tell them I lodged my visa in feb and they returned me all the money from the date I lodged for 187 visa . But yes you can cancel your bupa account and go for Medicare . I didn't cancel it be beause if my visa was rejected than I had to back with bupa again .

I emailed them and kindly asked them how long they ll take to grant my visa and they granted it on 29. Aa you told me to stay in touch since i lodged the same day as you but my medicala Pcc ,AFP was already submitted . They did not ask me additional documents . Try to email them . It worked for me t

Mine was lodged on 12 of dec I think around a month before you . So you might need to wait for another one month

No it is not about occupation. When immigration updated their system few weeks ago instead of saying in progress it says assessment is progress. Even if you lodge your file a week ago . Hope it makes sense to you

My my position is cook high risk country . I had certificate 3 certificate 4 advance diploma in cookery . And now I had 2 nd half year experience

My 457 will expire in 2017. They had rejected my 187 in 2013 because I did not had sufficient experience . So don't worry guys my wait has been long very hectic . I hope the best for all of you . Good luck everyone

one thing might have worked in my favor is that i was already on 457 visa. i hope you pr will get granted soon @Komalami you would need a birth certificate .i had mine in punjabi and i got that translated in english
