  1. I'm pretty sure Britain know how to be a country... And they all those shiny buildings in London from which to administer it.
  2. This is great news. I couldn't be happier for Britain. Now for the re-building of a great nation.
  3. I remember this after 9/11. We had intended to go to NY and do a train trip down south a couple of months after the attacks. We changed plans and ironically went to Turkey and Greece instead. It was a great trip and changed my life.
  4. From what I hear - all roads through Europe are clear...
  5. All my money's tied up in shoes... Well heeled and all that.
  6. I was separated from grandparents all my life and was as close as I could have ever been. Nothing breaks the family bonds except resentment and guilt and needing more than people can give.
  7. It goes anticipating the future..
  8. Well your income tax is spent by federal Treasury so you should have the hump about that too. I guess they give you a few years to pick a side. With any luck you won't miss much.
  9. Most people admire the beach to different degrees. As with the temperature really.
  10. Well. If my relationship breaks up is it ok to hate all men? When we invest ourselves heavily in something there is more likelihood of us resenting it if it fails to meet our expectations. It's called disappointment. You haven't invested yourself in your homeland.. you were just born there and became what it made you. No effort required really.
  11. I'm guessing any country can get boring. E.g America's an exciting country but try living in Nebraska. It's people moving for the wrong reasons to poorly suited places with too high expectations.
  12. That shot looks eerie. How the land tells the story of the climate.
  13. What about this website? http://www.domain.com.au/503-16-roscrea-ave-randwick-nsw-2031-10422746?topspot=1 Although this unit is taken (1 bedroom) you could contact the rental agent and tell them you want something similar in the area of your choice? This is reputable agency so you should get some assistance. You could transfer a bond deposit to them if you're keen, though I don't know what the stipulations are regarding having to look at the apartment first? Though it's Sydney, so money talks. No worries. Good luck.
  14. I'm sorry I don't. I always lived with mum and dad! And of course I moved away and then back again but that was when gumtrees were large eucalypts growing out your front door! If you can find anything around this area you will be well placed. http://www.realestate.com.au/property-apartment-nsw-randwick-412494519 A great little hub in the north of Randwick. Though this might mean you would prefer to catch the bus to work after all.
