Hi jdad84, Thank you for your reply. When I contacted the place im working next year, they have already lodged their nomination and waiting for a TRN number for me to fill in my online form. On the online immi account , I just fill out the health declarations and it tells exactly what tests I need to do for specific type of visas. It also gives a code for me to book an appointment with the clinic. With the online health declarations, you could do medical assessment prior to lodging your visa. My student visa is still valid till March 2015 and I was told that I could still work without a working visa initially. But I am afraid that this process is gonna take too long and if worse become worst they might just reject my visa application based on my medical history. However, the hospital is happy and has no concerns about my medical history whatsoever until now.

Hi guys! I am very anxious at the moment. I had my meds today and the panel doctor told me that my case is going to be referred to a MOC due to a history of latent TB. My latent TB was picked up by Quantiferon Gold test with no symptoms at that time. I never had any active TB infections previously and I am pretty sure my chest x ray and the rest are normal. I saw a specialist at that time, which said that I dont need any further follow-up. I provided the letter to the panel doctor already. 1. My concern is that I will be working in the healthcare field. Will the latent TB (and asymptomatic) make MOC refuse my visa application at all? 2. I have not submitted my visa application yet as my employer has not completed the nomination. Does that mean my med referral won't be reviewed by MOC until I submitted my visa application? 3. And do you know how long MOC would take to review the referral? Thank you very much. I am so worried!! I will start working in January next year Any advice are really appreciated!!
