Hi Guys Landing OZ next month with my wife for 12-24 months. We are starting in Sydney, however Sydney appears expensive so I don't know how long we will be here for as we will have about £3000 each as we intend of working. We are going to be travelling up to Cairns to start with fairly quickly as our friend is there in October for her birthday then slowly travel back down to be in Sydney for New Years. Are there better areas to look for work in November/December driving from Cairns to Sydney. We want to do our 3 months work to get a second year visa, starting to think it might be good to get this out of the way or at least started as you hear horror stories of getting screwed over near the end of it. After new Years we are just going to be going where the work is to start with them play it by ear then. Cheers guys any help would be great.

Hi Guys im new to this so please go easy on me. I am travelling to OZ with my wife on a WHV starting 22nd Sept and we are looking at buying a campervan/Hitop for a little bit of extra freedom. I have strated to try and look into insurance however im getting stuck when it comes to entering an address. Do I have to do this over the phone and say we don't have a fixed address or is there some other way of doing this. Also on another note can any one suggest the place to buy a van I have been told that Kings Cross in Sydney is one of the best places for Sydney which is where we will be starting our travels. Cheers
