Saad are you still waiting? I'm from Iran and I submitted our PCC and medical more than one month ago. But still no contact from the officer.

Hello everyone, Finally my CO appeared and asked for Medical and Police clearance. Does this mean that every other thing is finalized? Is this the last step before Visa grant? If yes, How much does it usually take after uploading the aforementioned documents for the visa to be granted? And as the last question, How much time you will have after visa grant to enter Australia?

Actually no. Since, I have heard that you will have one year, if you are granted a visa, after you upload your medical or pcc.

I don't know how to contact them. There is no contact details available in their site for this case. However, I contacted Australian embassy in my country. They just referred me to immi website. :confused:

Yes I am. And there is no high risk/low risk processing time for 189. I do not know even whom I should contact to ask about my case.

No body has even contacted us. I am not even aware if a team or officer is allocated to my case. We lodged on 29th of May.

Thanks. But, if you take a look at this link you can see that for 189 subclass there is no difference between high risk and low risk countries.

Hey guys We (my wife and I) submitted our application on 29th of May. Still no sign of officer. Nothing gets updated. I did the job all by myself without the help of any agent. Our application's status is 'processing' and all the documents that we uploaded are now marked as 'received' (Except PCC and Medical that we haven't uploaded yet). Is anything wrong? how long should we wait for an officer? And at last but not least, is there any priority based on the location that you apply from. For instance, I am from Iran and in Iranian forums I can see people who submitted their applications more than 16 months ago and still are waiting for a visa to be granted. However, in this very forum some guys who lodged in May, 2014 claim that they got a visa. How is that possible?
