  5. Hi! Thanks for the reply. It Would be a WHV which ive heard are a pretty quick process and i shouldnt have any issues obtaining one! I wont book a flight until i 100% know the visa will be accepted ( Cant see this being an issue) Weather wise i am not too fussed as either way i would imagine it will be better than Newcastle (UK)! I meant more inline with what are the most common times Backpackers tend to plan there trips around? Thanks again

  7. Hi! Ive finally plucked up the courage to leave my job and travel Australia for a year or two, Going to book my Visa and the end of the month and hopefully my flight also. 8. Hi all! Just looking for some advice on sponsorship in my industry, I currently work as a property consultant in Newcastle upon Tyne and have always dreamt of moving to Australia! Just looking to see if anyway knows if company's in Australia would ever consider sponsoring someone coming from the UK? Also does anyone have any sort of true indication of what salary for a property consultant or sales agent would be looking at? Any advice would be brilliant Thanks Terry
  9. Hi Ive been thinking about the move to Aus for a Lonnnnnng time now and ive eventually made my mind up, Im coming to Melbourne!! Would love some info on what to expect on the cost of living side, Atm i currently live in Newcastle which is relatively cheap place to live im a sheet metal worker by trade however just working in a call centre doing sales atm. Im averaging about £1600 a month after tax in the uk which comes to around $3000 dollars in Aus. I would be looking at something similar in aus for a 12 month visa anyway until i found a job back in construction and hopefully find a sponsor. I would be looking for a lifestyle where i could eat out maybe once a week, with a couple of nights out a month! also would like to join a gym and get a mobile phone, i Would really just like some advice on how i would be looking at for rental/bills/ general expenses would be compared to in the uk. Would be looking at moving somewhere close to a beach with a few pubs and restaurants thinking mordialloc or Williamstown Any help would be amazing:)
