  1. I found a website called what do they know and you can post in there for an answer but I'm not sure how quick this will be.
  2. I don't think it will be that easy as he'll be classed as a tourist. Have you looked at the British immigration website? Or was it as useful as a chocolate teapot?
  3. I can understand all viewpoints here but I don't think encouraging children to hit each other is the way forward. Would you hit an adult who said something you didn't like? Bullying is is a problem in practically every country around the world. However, when does a child stop being the victim and become the bully? It it is up to parents and school to work together to stamp out bullying, to ensure that children understand what is and isn't acceptable behaviour. Hitting the bully doesn't make the bully understand what they have done is wrong, it simply teaches them that there may be an unpleasant consequence to their actions/words. Dependent on on the age of the child concerned, I would perhaps keep a diary and speak to the local neighbourhood police team or Rangers and ask them to perhaps arrange to go to school and talk about bullying in assembly and also the legal ramifications of bullying as it is against the law to call someone racist names. Just as assaulting someone physically is against the law.
  4. Whatever reasonable force is deemed necessary. Of course, everyone has a different definition of reasonable force but whacking with a rolling pin is maybe okay........ A policewoman I know told me that if, for instance, I was chopping onions in the kitchen and some one knocked on the door and I went to answer it with the knife in my hand and then that person forced their way in and I stabbed them, then that's fine as they would check the wound for onion presence. Of course, it's quite hard to make sure you are cooking at suitable times (when some one breaks in).
  5. I too am iPading. Maybe that's it. The iPad.
  6. I can't see it either . Unless he's the invisible Man
  7. It was great to meet you too. Hopefully you and Mrs B will be over soon for dinner?
  8. You won't have to pay again but they will write to you and ask you why your name is different. When you call them, explain what happened and they will be able to sort it out so don't panic.
  9. She's the one who started it :biglaugh:
