We used anglo pacific, they were great! We shipped everything & glad we did as we found it really expensive here & wouldn't have been able to get everything we wanted. Hi, you can set up an aussie bank account whilst your in the uk, there are branches in london - just look on google & compare whats best for you, and transfer the money before you come. Its quite expensive to transfer money between our aussie & uk banks. we set up our account when we arrived, so you can do it either way when are you making the move? ​Sara

Hi Jacquena, I have just joined this site. We live right in Wollongong, moved here from Figtree a week ago - mainly because our car was scrapped & with the kids i wanted to be walking distance from the town, beaches & parks. Figtree is a great area for families & I love Wollongong, we moved from the UK 8 months ago & my husband works in fairy meadow.
