We rang the Spotswood quarantine in melbourne this evening to check availability as we are planning on shipping our 2 dogs out at the end of march this year, apparently they are still in talks over reducing it to 10 days so looks like ours will still be in for the full 30 days

My mum is moving out with me too, we already have family in Hobart but my mum has her eye on Sandy Bay so will be interesting to read your blog c.i.t

I have been granted a 489 visa, only took 4 weeks from start to finish, unbelievable! Moving out within the next 4 months

I've been offered a job in a salon so they wanted a copy of my job offer and contract and also a copy of my IELTS test. I submitted it all by email and they usually get back to you within 24/48 hrs.

Mine took around 3 weeks, had to submit a few extra things so could have been less. They are brilliant and really helpful. Good luck!

Has anyone shipped their car/household belongings on a provisional 489 visa? I'm pretty sure I can as DAFF state if your temporary visa could lead to a permanent one then you can, just need to be 100% certain.
