  1. Hi all, We have been advised by our Removers that we have to take out their insurance, looking on here many people arrange alternative insurance, they are adamant that we use their insurance even though I can get comparable cover elsewhere for nearly half the cost. Is this right? the company is Brittania Lanes. Any thoughts?
  2. It depends what age primary you are teaching, if I remember correctly early years teachers are on the SOL which are up to 8 years old?? if you are teaching reception or year 1/2 you may be eligible for independent visa. At least, my OH was assessed as being an Early Years Teacher and we had partner points on our visa as a result. otherwise primary on the wa list for state sponsorship?
  3. if it aint back in time you can send the CO the receipt/acknowledgement letter which should come back within a week or so to tell you it is being processed
  4. no matter the legal truth, surely the moral obligation should be sufficient to keep you in the state that has sponsored you and allowed you to gain a visa for entering the country. There are mechanisms in place should you not be able to find work and need to leave the state. If you have no intention of staying in WA why did you apply for WA state sponsorship?

  7. hi does anyone have an email address for global health? My medicals referred on 24th July, thought I would try an email enquiry prior to phoning at the end of this week. Many thanks
  8. I have noticed in this forum that people are sending hard copy originals to DIAC of PCC's. I have uploaded colour scans of ours, do I also have to send the originals? The correspondence from the case officer indicated that they accept colour scans of documents generally and didn't specifically state that PCCs had to be sent hard copy. Anyone any idea?
