  1. Date of Application: 10 Oct 2014 Date of Bank Check Post: 11 July 2017 Date of VISA Grant : 13 July 2017. Received email today because lawyers office got it after 6 PM yesterday Sydney time as Perth is 2 hours behind. Total Wait: 2 years 9 months 4 days. This visa for my mother and younger sister. I feel the same feeling when I received my PR email in April 2012.
  2. I just dropped the check to lawyer office. They are sending via Australia Post . Actually, I don't know the process well.
  3. My mother has received 2nd VAC request. Application Date: 10th October 2014. I will try to send bank check soon.
  4. I applied on 10 October 2014 and today I got request from case officer for additional documents such as form 80 (haven't asked during AOS & Medical request), asked for new passport details cause it might be less than 6 months validity when they will grant visa, etc. Hi Catlady2014, have you asked to further documents or 2nd VAC payment. You are 10 days ahead of me
  5. Hi Tracy56, Yes, they process according to submission date. It doesn't mean that AOS will be issued according to submission date. They open each application according to submission date but I don't know the workflow after opening the application. I can only share my experience. I went to a centrelink office close to Sydney CBD and I found that the officers know about AOS very well. They checked and submitted my application very quickly. I haven't missed the phone call from private number. I went to CBA Sydney branch and found that the bank officer processes bank guarantee almost daily basis. Regarding my personal circumstances: I am in Australia for last 4.5 years. I have never been to Centrelink before and never took any help/benefit from them. I have been submitting TAX every year. I don't have significant debt. But what ever the reason I think I am a bit lucky in regards of AOS processing time.
  6. Hi Tracy, You may get phone interview anytime. Receive phone call from any private number during office hours MONDAY-FRIDAY. AOS processing time is can vary from 4 to 10 weeks at this moment as per my experience and tracking this forum. It depends on lot of factors and luck is the #1 factor. I have received AOS last week and it is within 4 weeks of submission. I got phone interview call after 2.5 weeks. Probably, I am not gonna get contacted by Case Officer or PVC soon as I am an October 2014 applicant and one the applicant's medical will take a few weeks more to be done. Hi Catlady2014, Is there any update in your AOS processing or anything. I always follow you as I am around a week behind you.
  7. if your details in centrelink doesn't 100% same with mygov the it won't link. In my case, my Middle Name is appended with the First Name field in the TAX account but not with centrelink. I had added TAX and Medicare first before linking Centrelink to MyGOV. MyGOV took the TAX or Medicare naming format as defaults and now is conflicting with Centrelink. It is possible to resolve the conflict but i did get enough time to physically go to centrelink. I will need to fix Middle Name issue with centrelink then unlink all the accounts and the link again.
  8. I think, when they send reply email, they also keep record and don't reply email if there is not change in the update. If you email from any other alternative email account you will probably get reply that but reply will not be the latest one.
  9. I have submitted AOS this week and the officer also signed as witness in front of me. I hope that scanned copy of every documents will be uploaded!
  10. Just a quick update: We have been contacted by Parent Visa Centre ( not case officer ) today requesting for AOS, Medicals and Police Clearance.
