  1. My partner has this test at end of month in London ...... Hoping for a positive outcome .... Ilets test has been a major barrier he's failed twice (((( sad times
  2. Hi there )) We are in the process of compiling our Vetassess for our 176 Visa. My partner is the skilled applicant as a welder 1st Class / boiler maker. We are also hoping to beat the July changes and have instructed an agent to support us to ensure our application is of a hight quality standard. Thsi deadline is worrying me and the Ielts test is worrying my partner. Good luck with your application. )) Kayli
  3. Afternoon, The is a site called seek.au this is a job search site in Austrailia which may give you the oppourtunity to see what employment is available in Perth for you and teh salaries that they are paying. Just google the above bold text. Thanks kayli
  4. hi nat... Yes its a daunting expirence for them having to be tested on thier own language ... plus with the deadline ahhhh NO PRESSURE fellas !!! yes the test has to be passed before the application can proceed which is a nusiance as we really do not have time on our side!! So lets hope hope hope !!!! Lots of practice and revision i think is the key to it!!! im getting soo nervous about this deadline ;(((
  5. Exciting stuff hey!!! We have decided to use an agent to support us with our application as we both work ful time and have a 2 1/2 year old son who is also full time. our hectic lifestyle and lack of time to beat the chages by the 1st July 2012 means that we need all the help we can get. we are going to apply for a 176 application and my partner being the skilled applicant (welder) has his Ielts test booked in april which is an english reading writing and speaking test which you have to score 8 points in each catergory out of a possible 9 points. which is almost perfect. ( No pressure) but this costs £125 and if a failure is the result then this has to be completetd again along with the costs untill you get a pass result. We are hoping that he will pass this in order to beat the deadline but this could potentialy hold up the rest of our application. we will then be able to proceed with skills assesment, police checks and medicals before we can submit our application. simular visa applications have been taking 4 - 6 months to be granted which is incredible. so providing everything progresses well we are hoping to match this time scale. Hope this helps a little. Good luck hope you make the right choice for you and your family
  6. We are in the process of applying for our 176 visa although as above with the changes we have decided to use an agent. The total cost is roughly £2400 plus vat for an agents assistance so in total you will be looking at £5500 english pounds!! we are too hoping to beat the 1st of July but im feeling nervous at this deadline given that the Ilets test is in april and could if not passed first time create problems to beating this deadline. Lets just hope someone is looking down on us hey :0)))
  7. Hi Nev, We are hoping to head for Perth all going to plan. Yes that seems a good quote for assistance. No sponsership will hopefully come from the state at some stage as we are going for a 176 and my Partner being the skilled applicant has a friend out there and has registered for work with a company there so hoping he can get some work or at least get accepted for work and they may even sponser him ... so will just have to wait and see!! where u heading??

  9. Hi there guys )) me my partner and little boy have just started with an agent and i think that a cheap quote ours is costing us £2400 plus vat! but they have a good repand also i aint got a clue whats required so can do with a ll the help we can get too )) Hope all goes well for you guys!!
