Just passed driving test in UK how does that go in Australia

Hi everyone can I change things around, my Daughter is on her red P's here, but we are going home for a holiday can she drive over there as they don't have P's in the UK. clubby67 -
WOW you have been busy. We arrived in Gold Coast 6 wks ago and its tough we have a car and have rented a house, I have managed to get a job as a housekeeper in a resort, but Hubby is having problems getting work, dont know how many C V's he has put out but no response so far. My youngest started school last week she is 14 and seems to be liking it, time will tell ! My eldest is 17 and also starting to look for work. Fingers crossed things change soon, we are where we want to be with the family and new Grand Daughter. Good luck to you and your family in OZ Wilma x

Hi everyone Cant believe I just got an email from our shipping company to tell us our shipment is now in Leeds ready to load onto the Brisbane container sounds good, except they packed up our stuff on the 31st May and took it to Glasgow, so its taken 2 months to get our stuff to Leeds how long will it take to get to Brisbane:arghh: Is this normal ! We arrived in the Gold Coast on the 6th July so we could have a long wait in an empty house. Wilma

Congratulations thats great news, we arrived in the Gold Coast last Wednesday, still trying to find a house to rent, seen a few places so fingers crossed it wont be long till we get out from under my Son's feet. Good luck to you, maybe we could meet up when you are settled. Wilma x

We thats us nearly ready to go, we travel to London on the train tomorrow, stay with my uncle overnight, dog to kennels ready for her flight that night, then we are off to the airport to catch our flight. Thank you so much for all the help and support we have received on this site, it was a god send when I found it. Hi there we also had Crown to pack our stuff and we also leave on the 4th July, dont know about you but there still seems a lot to do before we go, my hubby and I have now finish work so we can get stuck in and get it done. We are heading for the Gold Coast what about you guys, we are flying with Emirates, heard good things about them so fingers crossed. Good luck with the move. Wilma
