Hi I've worked for a well known not-for-profit organisation in Wollongong since arriving in July 2008 & due to internal promotion am looking to hire a replacement for my old role. I'm looking for a good all rounder - with the potential to progress & increase responsibilities over time. Key Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Month End preparation Balance Sheet & General Ledger Reconciliations Balance Sheet Analysis Month End Journals & Accruals Month End reporting day to day management of two assistant Finance Officers The role requires someone who can operate on a hands on basis (posting journals) as well as being responsible for a large portfolio of cost centres. Excel skills are essential & the finance system used is Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains. This is a permanent, full-time role & doesn't offer sponsorship so you'll need to have your own visa in place. <p>We just wanted to get somewhere as quickly as possible so went for the first rental that accepted us & our two dog! We want to buy eventually but it probably wont be for 12 months or so when our permanent visa application's gone through (we're on a temp one at the moment & there's no first time buyers perks with it!). There weren't that many rentals that accepted pets in Kiama itself - actually there weren't that many rentals full stop, that we liked anyway - but we're fussy! Most of the houses we went to view were new builds & we wanted something a bit older- mind you I think the one we've gone for (only 15 mins away) is only 5 years old! Hopefully we'll make it back to Kiama when we buy - there's a beach with an off leash area next to Kiama so it'd be ideal!</p>
