  1. Thank you @Sheral Singh I know we must be in the system somewhere... maybe just maybe one of these fine days. Although the DIBP processing changed recently to 9 to 13 months I think.
  2. Hi Sorry I have not been on here for a while - I know tell me about it ---- it was 8-10 months then now it says 11-14 months processing time. if its 14 months then our police checks and medicals will expire - i have no idea what will happen then if thats the case. Oh dear do you have to do them again even though you had no control over it? Forever hopeful. All the best
  3. Hi Emma I was wondering the same - when you get to the ''end'' of the processing times - what happens then - do you have an opportunity to contact the DIBP? It was 8-10 months up until recently and my MA said you cant do anything until the 10 months, and suddenly in the last few weeks it has changed to 11-14 months! That will mean at 14 months both the police checks and medicals will have expired. What do you have to do then? Good luck with your waiting too. My 190 is for Victoria, 251111.
  4. Hi - I have now just reached 279 days since lodgement (almost 10 months) - and the goalposts have moved again it is now saying 11 and 14 months processing. I was hoping it would have been processed before their new batch. Anyway, keep patient as you say and my time will come soon...Thanks for the reassurance.
  5. Hey Emma_M, Im jumping in on this post as it resonates with me.... I havent been on here for a while. And I am feeling a bit relieved to find someone else who is feeling so despondent too... Today marks 279 days since lodgement of our 190 - 2x CO contacts in that time , all replied to in good time, and just we are stuck in the system now. I was wondering what would happen if the pc and medicals expire (ours would only be in Dec'19/Jan'20) --- but what DO you do in that case? Hope you are hanging in there and you get your grant soon. It has been a long road, and it feels so close but each passing week another sigh. Have a good week, hope things brighten up for so many of us.
  6. Hi, I know it's hard not to feel despondent, but has anyone waited longer than 8 months for their 190 visa? Lodged 4 Sept 2018, so on Saturday 4 May it will be 8 months exactly since lodging. Everything is in - we did not front load, Had CO contact in Dec for Police and Medicals and a second contact in Feb for further info, so everything is submitted including Form 80 at the lodgement time. I know there is no way of predicting anything. I was just wondering how common it is to be waiting longer than 8 months ( DIBP website said 9-11 months for a while , now changed back to 8-10 months). Im glad in a way I have a MA - it would do my head in if I could log into my own immiaccount every day like some people have eluded to.
  7. Wow congratulations. I am so pleased for you. No News on my visa. we are still waiting. On sunday its 8 months exactly since we lodged, I get increasingly worried but the MA said no use worrying. I called the MA the other day to see that our grant hadn't landed in their 'spam' email box and they said no, they checked my immiaccount and we are still in the system somewhere. So all the best Lucy for your future endeavours. It will be all systems go once you are truly on your way. Happy Days.
  8. Limbo is an understatement... but we keep saying to each other - so many thousands of families and people have been through this waiting. Then suddenly they get their visa grant. That must feel surreal when that happens! Anyway, yet another week goes by and we have not heard from our MA with any news. And its nearly Easter. May as well enjoy the warm sunshine due this weekend and a few Easter Eggs. Holding thumbs, holding everything. All the best too for your Grant.
  9. Hi Lucy, no we did not front load the Health and police checks, these were done in Jan and Dec respectively. Everything else was completed by the MA anyway, including Form 80 at the application time. So our clock is ticking, based on the Dec earliest date from the PC. We have Still not heard anything yet. We are on about 7 months and a week now since lodgement. Its a very trying time, we wanted to book a holiday To Aus for the UK summer time, but will not do that until we have the Visa . But we knew we would have to wait - it just feels so imminent but we will have no idea when it will be granted. how are things for you?
  10. Yes indeed! Anszco code 251111, Victoria (dietitian) .
  11. Hi lovely supportive Forum members. Huge congrats to those with recent grants. We are now on 6 months 26 days since lodgement (lodged 4 Sept 2018) of Victoria 190 visa and still awaiting a grant hopefully. Have had two CO contacts in Dec and Feb and sent info back within time frame. PC done in Dec 2018, Medicals done Jan 2019. We were hoping for a grant so we can book a holiday in the 2019 UK school summer holidays to validate the visas, not doing anything until received grant. we continue to wait and remain ever hopeful. I go through phases of reading loads of posts on here to feel reassured then get so busy with work and family that I forget and let time pass. When I read about people who are excited for their nomination and invitation I think... gosh you’ve got a long wait ahead guys have patience. Anyone else awaiting a grant after Sept /Oct 2018 lodgement?

  13. A surprise email from my MA yesterday 14 weeks from lodgement of 190 visa for first CO contact. Just need to do our medicals and police checks now. Have to submit evidence within 28 days that they have been booked within (eeek .... which includes the Christmas and new year break). So that’s good, as the actual medical appointment can be after that time, so hang in there those who are waiting - all good things come to those who wait! I got so busy with work that I nearly missed their email.....
