  1. Hello @Emily91, I would suggest you give PTE a shot. The trick to scoring high for PTE is to know exactly how to answer questions. May I suggest you check out videos on e2language . This site definitely helped me a lot and I scored 87 on my first attempt. Hope this helps :) Good luck!
  2. I think i answered my own question but linking it here for everyone. https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au/individuals/services/medicare/australian-immunisation-register/what-register/overseas-immunisations
  3. I really hope this happens. Fingers crossed. Also, am interested to know how the vaccination verification will be done. I am fully vaccinated(AZ) and have a certificate as well. Will that be enough or is there some portal that I need to upload this for the Aus gov to verify?
  4. I am not a coffee addict but i enjoy it with my breakfasts if am dining out otherwise am a tea kinda gal. But the thing i miss the most are the Aussie meat pies :(
  5. Hmmm ok understandable.. Thank you for the responses.
  6. Just curious to know if I will still need to do the institutional quarantine if I get vaccinated?
  7. I already have my PR and made my first entry last year. I was all set to move there by Aug/Sep of this year but i have put things on hold for a while as i don't want to travel as soon as flights start to operate.
  8. Awesome! Thank you so much for the detailed response Ken! Merry Christmas to you :)
  9. Hey All, I got my PR grant in Oct 2018 and made my mandatory entry in May 2019. I plan to make the permanent move to Aus by mid 2020. The reason for the delay in my move was coz i want to save up before moving to Aus. I wanted to know if there will be any complications for me? The reason i am asking is coz my friend told me yest that he knows someone who got her PR but was living abroad and was only making a weekly visit every 6 months or so and the gov sent her an email saying that her PR will be revoked if she doesn't make the move permanently. I couldn't sleep last night thinking about this. Could someone please let me know if there is a deadline for people to make the permanent move? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Sonia
  10. Thanks Eera. Yeah its Monash. He s already looking into those options. Just thought i would also inquire as he s short on time.
  11. Shared accommodation with other fellow students or working professionals would be fine.
  12. Hello all, My cousin s kid is coming to Aus to do his masters degree. His campus is located in Caulfield. Could anyone suggest any trust worthy websites where he can find an accommodation around this area? He plans to be in Aus by July 20th or so. Thank you. Regards, Sonia
  13. Oh wow! Thank you so much for the detailed reply. Very kind of you. I will go through them and shortlist things.
  14. Sorry, missed out to give that info. Arriving in Hobart and departing from Launceston.
  15. Hello Skani, We are planning to be there from 23rd-28th of May. Its our first time there so we are interested to see the historic sites and do a lot of sight seeing and lil bit of adventurous things as well. I also would love to try out some local food and look forward to visiting the Salamanca market when we are there.
