Hello I was hoping for a bit of advice about a specific aspect of my application for PR in Australia. Currently I am here on a 457 visa working as a Psychiatry Registrar in Sydney and intend to apply for PR via a 189 visa. I'm not sure which SOL category my occupation falls into however - I originally thought (and have submitted an EOI for this option) it would be Medical Practitioners NEC - as I have not completed specialist training yet so would not be classified as a Psychiatrist. However on some websites it suggests that the Psychiatrist category includes registrars in training like myself. Would anyone be able to clarify this matter for me? I'm worried that if I submit an application but have the wrong skilled occupation I will waste my application fee ! Thanks Sarah
