Hello, I readed some recent news about goverment is going to tighten the 457 job list. Does anyone know how fast they can apply new policy? Hi GanzToOz, I saw your entry in the 186 timeline. I am a primary teacher too. My school has lodged the nomination via a agent in July, so I am waiting for the result. I contact you because someone told me today, if it is a nomination from Education department, my school can't use an agent. I was a bit shocked when I hear it! I thought for 457 the employer can't use a agent. Can I ask you if you use an agent? Many thanks

Hello, my MA submitted the nomination application in July. I was planning to submit my visa application after the nomination get approved. However, someone told me if I do that, the whole process might take 1 year (like each application is going to take at least 6 months). Is this true? Many thanks
