    Dear All, Can anyone guide me where exactly to find the list of documents to be ready with for the citizenship application. The link below just mentions to be ready with documents but doesn't mention which documents exactly. https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/citizenship/become-a-citizen/permanent-resident#HowTo I will be eligible to apply in Nov 2019. Appreciate your help in advance. Thanks!

    2 cents from me - After 6 months of app lodgement and even if you have a MA, feel free to call up IMMI for update. Be gentle and extremely polite to ask them for update. Do start the conversation by thanking for their time and hard work, then ask if it is appropriate to ask about status as you have been anxiously waiting for over 6 months for any update. Once I completed 6 months, I called them thrice in a span of 10 days and every time they spoke very well and gave me an update. In my third and final call, they told that my application will be picked up soon and within 3 hours the status changed to Granted. (App was lodged in NSW but approved in WA, I used MA). During the calls, they said that status update takes precious time and I should contact my MA for an update. On this I apologised and again thanked them for their time and effort. The agent mark each time you call in the application, so be honest as well.

    Folks, Good news from me. PR Granted. Such a relief! Hope all of you waiting get their PR soonest. My details: DE; HR; 3 People; Occupation - ICT Sales; Applied on 18-Nov-16; Granted on 22-May-17. Cheers!

    The December applications have opened up. 2 PR grants and 2 Nomination approval in 24 hours!! Congratulations to Jorge, HB, gmeaney1 & AR, Wonder what will be the fate of applicants from previous months, how much more we have to wait... :-(

    There are some professions like Medicine etc that requires holding and continuously upgrading of Professional License. If you are already working in your profession with no need of License then a letter from your employer or a relevant industrial body or may be a statutory declaration should suffice. I suggest giving more than one evidence will be good. However, its best to contact your MA for this. Can you share your timeline, whether transition or direct entry and LR or HR country?

    Your MA is best placed to draft a proper response in this case. As a proof that indeed its a busy restaurant, you can think of actually submitting record of each day's footfall for a period of time , say last 6 months. You restaurant would have receipts with time stamp from where we can complete this task.

    Any idea folks, if anyone of you heard this : Your application has been allocated to an assessment team and they will get back. Any experience with this, how long will it further take?

    It will not impact as long as you are going on leave, still working with employer and have valid 457.

    Spreadsheet view : Applied Approved Pending %approved # of Months for Approval Transition 329 261 68 79% 7.3 DE 124 65 59 52% 8.9 I didn't hear any rumour about timeline increase. However, mu MA insists that they will not call the IMMI before 10 months of application lodgement.
