Hey JK Ours was issued from Karachi and only valid for 6 months. We asked immigration if we needed it to revalidate it and was advised only if asked to do so. They never did and entry date was issued exactly 1 year from the PCC

PCC was valid til 2nd of March and that is the last entry date given,

thanks mate, Just our DOB names, if we both had any past relationships and their details, how many events we had for the wedding, if we had done ruksati (which i found strange) and how many people attended the events.

Hey guys, finally visa granted, We got a second interview call at approx. 6:30pm Aus time, this time they called me and not my wife (I am the sponsor, wife got the interview call about 4 months ago) they asked me some general questions which lasted about 5 mins. Then at 8:30pm the visa grant email came through. Issued from Islamabad with a date of entry no later than 2nd March 17. For those who are reading this and do not have an account, i urge you to make an account, connect with people in the same boat, this forum was a god send. Wish you all the best, PS 10 months and 12 days From DOL to DOG.

Prob best if you need to transit do it in Aus if you are not that comfortable, but transit visa's shouldnt take more than a few days though. Can do as Pumpkinhead stated by going to Brisbane or even Sydney (will be longer trip but wont have to transit in Singapore). In saying that if you dont leave the actual airport you wont need transit visa can stay for 12hrs or so etc in the airport and get a room if you need. @Ssyed any news for you?
