So we arrived today right in the middle of a storm! Had a lovely dinner out and ready to explore tomorrow

We we have an estimated start date of 28th November. Currently living in a small town called mount gambier only 26000 people so we are used to the regional lifestyle. We are looking forward to the warm weather. We moved to Australia and landed somewhere that appears to rain more than England! Where did you come from initially? We are looking forward to the move and making more friends ?

Hi, sorry for hijacking your thread. I am planning to move to Rockhampton from South Australia (been there 18 months originally from UK) in the next couple of months. I have been provisionally offered a position at the hospital. I will be moving with my husband and 3 Kids (9, 6 and 4) I have heard mixed reviews on Rockhampton but am looking forward to the move. Any advice on good areas, schools etc would be great. Lianne

We spoke to Geneva healthcare recruitment and health staff who both advised 457. Our plan is to settle eventually. also looking on immigration website it seemed like the most straight forward. Are school fees that expensive? only have 1 child in school at the minute. Is it worth going to a immigration expo to gather more info?

I am a qualified mental health nurse in the uk (advanced diploma) with 5years experience. My husband is a landscape gardener and we have 3 children (5.3&1) have begun to gather documents for registration. looking to go to perth or surrounding areas. From research believe that 457 may be best?. Any advice would be helpful Also am confused by nurse scales what level would I enter at, i also have post reg qualification in mentorship
