I love Ulladulla! I found a great coastal town about 30 minutes away called Bawley Point. Beautiful and perfect for a peaceful getaway. However, if you are looking for a place to live, whilst Ulladulla is great, it has the infrastructure of a country town. If you want something with more infrastructure on the south coast, you could move closer to either Nowra, or Batemans Bay.

So sorry to hear about your experience. Yeah, life in Australia can definitely be a major culture shock. I have the utmost respect for how you dealt with everything. A real trooper as they say. I am terribly sorry to hear about your loss of the child, that can be really hard. I totally understand your need to go back and be with your family. It's a shame that the relationship had to end the way it did, but it sounds like it will be for the best, no matter how hard it seems. Thanks again for your openness

Hi all, I've been in Oz now for around 2 years after a year-long trip around this beautiful country. Threw my wife in a campervan and off we went. I loved the country so much, I thought I'd stay. Pleasure to meet you. I will see you around the forum

Wow! What an amazing road trip. I was only in Tasmania for 2 week, and could easily have stayed longer. I love their itinerary. The only thing I would add is bushwalking through the national park on the South West of Tas (bucket list item right there)
