  1. Hi there We are looking to relocate to the Tweed Coast in November. Can anyone give me any information good or bad about Banora Point, Kingscliff, Tweeds Head, Terranora and Casuarina. I have 2 children aged 10 & 13 so particularly interested to here about schools Thanks in advance
  2. but she could apply for another 651 visa?
  3. That's the one. Maybe I am just thinking about this too much but this means that some one could stay 3 months, leave for the weekend then return for another 3 months and keep doing this?? as much as I love my mother I am not sure I would want her to know about this. So as long as she doesn't overstay she could continue to visit on this visa for years to come?
  4. Hey all my mum has a tourist visa which is valid until April2016. She has already spent 3 weeks in Oz this may then returned home. i know the visa permits a stay of 3 months but is that a maximum of 3 months in the 12 month period or can she stay upto 3 months say 3 times? Very confusing just trying to spread her stays across the year without exceeding limits. also would she need to return home to the UK or can she move on to stay with other family in Dubai and Hong Kong?
  5. First time poster:unsure:. Please be kind. In the process of uploading all my documents for my 573 student visa application and just awaiting medicals being completed. Medicals required for myself (healthcare worker) and my husband due to previous medical history. Just wondered if anyone has experience of undertaking these medicals post cancer treatment? My husband has had various treatments for cancer over the past 10 years but is now free from any disease and has been for over 18 months now. He takes no preventative medication for the cancer although he is on epilepsy medication. I appreciate that he is not over the 5yr threshold but we are not applying for PR. We will have the required OSHC which will cover pre-exisiting conditions provided he has shown no symptoms in the 6 months prior to arrival. Also due to my husbands business commitments here in the UK he will be returning every 6 months and his UK consultant is more than happy to continue routine scans/follow up in UK Any help or advice would be appreciated. My husband is a remarkable man who was given less than 1 yr to live 10 years ago. Since then he has fought a most horrible disease and fathered a wonderful daughter and is still only 37!! I feel privileged to have been given the opportunity to complete my studies overseas. It would also be amazing for my daughter to be able to spend quality time with her father in a much better climate for him. Due to the amount of treatment he has had he can suffer from poor circulation especially in the wet winter months (usually 10 months of the year in Scotland lol!) Thank you to anyone who has taken the time to read through all of this an apologise for rambling on
