  1. Thanks for the reply, best to get treated here then, so no future illness costs to worry about. Cheers, Kat
  2. Thanks Mike, tbh that says to me they probably wouldn't consider it to be an issue seeing as they don't recognise it as a real health issue in the first place lol! Good to know, thanks a lot for the quick reply :-) Kat
  3. Many thanks for the quick answer, I'll get an appointment asap! Cheers :-)
  4. Hi, I have just found a classic bulls-eye tick bite mark on my lower leg since having returned from Italy I know I'm going to have to go to my GP here for blood work & antibiotics but will this result in any complications for a future application to emigrate out to Oz? My husband and both children have full citizenship & my application would be for a spouse visa. Has anyone had any experience of this? Many thanks, Kat.

  6. Many thanks for that YMCA, much appreciated. May I ask an additional question? It is possible that my wife may have a thyroid problem (currently waiting for an appointment to have it investigated). Assuming it is simply thyroid and nothing more serious, would this cause any barrier to the visa application process for spouse residency? (She's only nearly 39yrs old) Cheers, Brett
  7. Hi Mark, Thanks a lot for the quick reply - it's much appreciated. Please could you tell me roughly how much that would cost - I'm assuming it would cost more than a partner visa lodged in the UK? There shouldn't be any problems lodging a visitor visa. Cheers, Brett
  8. We are looking to move out to Aus as a family. I have dual citizenship (UK and Aus) as do both my kids. However my wife would require a partner VISA. I've read that it takes around 6 months to get a partner VISA through if applied from the UK. Is there any way of applying for this once in Australia? As you can probably tell, we're looking at all of the options and particularly into how quickly we could get out there.
