Hi I have been approved for 489 visa, however I want to add my boyfriend on my visa. Is there a way that can be possible ie if we can proof long term relationship. Do I need to fill out a form, any instructions would be helpful. Thanks

Hi, I am a little confused on SA state sponsorship for 489 visa. My agent is telling me that quota has been filled in SA and it will be reset in July, yet SA website suggest the points have been raised to 90 points for SS. My occupation has special condition apply so it will have to be high points, is that going to be reset in July? Where is the quota, is that total number of SS across all sector or for each occupation? is there a website that tells you? How many points are generally required for SS in South Australia?

Hi, when is the skills occupation list usually change every year. My understanding was that it usually change in July end of financial year but I have noticed some changes happened in January and March 2018. Is it random or fixed date when changes are undertaken?

Hi, I need to build a case for state sponsorship. I am applying for jobs in my role and I need employer to respond "we are interested however you need to be in Australia with valid visa" something around these marks. I want to word the cover letter and email cover such that they respond that way, I don't if I should tell them that I don't have visa and seeking sponsorship? Can you guys help, has any one gone through these procedure

Hi, my parents wants to apply for 884 contributory parents visa once my father is at retirement age next year by applying in Oz and gaining bridging visa. The problem is that my sister needs to move to Oz so that we can pass the family balance test, my sister agent has told her that she can only get provisional 489 visa and become permanent resident once she live in regional area for 2 years. Currently its 2 in Oz, 2 in UK and 1 in EU hence will not pass the family balance test. The question is, if my sister moves to other EU country for let say 3 months after getting her visa before migrating to Oz that EU country would be considered her main residence country. So my parents will then pass the family balance test. So the question is that possible that after she gets her Oz visa she then moves to Portugal for 3-4 months and then Portugal would then be considered her main residence country rather then UK.

For 143 parents visa, what evidence does the children who lives in different countries need to provide beside birth certificate, something like payslips, work letter, bills etc?

Hello, My parents have been living in UK for most of their life, the Kygyz embassy issuing birth certificate will only include father name as standard and will not include mother name for some reason, now is there a way in UK to obtain family book or some other evidence?

I was in your exact position this time last year, waited till july and got my 189 in october, some where getting grant in August. You probably won't migrate now anyway before you get your house in order, so my advise is to wait until July only 2 months away and get 189 with freedom to move anywhere you want.

I am not sure about the family balance test, 2-2-1 (2 in Australia, 2 in UK and 1 Netherlands) it is not listed in the family balance test table. It says half or more must be living in Australia so in this case 2-2-1. https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Brin/Pare/balance-of-family-test

Hello, My parents are hoping to apply for Contributory parent visa (subclass 143). I read somewhere that they can apply for visitor visa subclass 600 once in Australia they can apply for 143 giving them bridging visa. Question is will they be allowed to work on bridging visa? Also family balance test is currently not met however one of my sister wants to go Australia on working holiday visa in the hope of obtaining temporary work visa; my self and one of my sister currently residing in Australia as permanent resident; One of my sister lives in Holland; Two sister lives in London but one hopes to move to Australia on 4 years temp visa like 457 or equivalent. So based on above that should tip the balance to 2-1-1-1 which will pass the family balance test. Has anyone go through this process or similar? please share your experience
