My wife and 2 girls are Australian citizens and she was never asked to do a police check.

I think we're still in shock! Hopefully yours will only be a week or 2 off! We need to sell the house before we go and as I'm self employed need to finish off a few contracts so probably won't be going before April next year.

I received an email this morning - my visa has been granted!!! Straight to subclass 100!! I can't describe the relief of having it granted! Thanks to everyone on this forum who has given help and advice - it was much appreciated! Good luck to everyone who is still waiting!

Hi Nikki, We had the same email from our CO (AW). We applied on the 24th March and email from CO on the 2nd June asking for medical and police check but with no deadline. Now just waiting.......:confused:

I have just had my medical this week and have uploaded a couple of other bits requested by CO, now just waiting for the Police check to come through!

Quick question - I'm getting two Oz citizens to do Statutory Declarations for me and was planning on getting a couple of family/friends from the UK also. Obviously I have form 888 for the Oz citizens to complete but was wondering if there is anything similar for UK citizens to complete or if they just need to write a statement. If it is just a statement will they need to get it witnessed? Thanks!

That's great! Thanks! It's probably going to take us 2 or 3 weeks to get all evidence / statements together. So I thought that if I can lodge the application straight away to get it moving and then upload over the next few weeks. We've been married for over 5 years and have a child together so that all sounds good! Thanks again!

Hi Guys, I'm new to the forum. Sorry if this has already been asked a thousand times but I just have a couple of questions about applying. Firstly, do I need all of the evidence ready to upload as soon as I apply and pay or can it be uploaded over the space of 3 or 4 weeks after applying? Secondly, does anything need to be done to be awarded PR (subclass 100) straight away or does that just happen if you are eligible? Thanks!
