Anyone had any luck this week? Still waiting here, further info was submitted last Friday and everyone keeps saying it'll come through soon but then every day I wake up and check for news and there's nothing, it's very depressing. No idea how long it will take.

My MA doesn't like giving speedy or very thorough responses either! My work have told me they have supplied further info so I'm happy it's been picked up by a case officer but I really have no idea how long it will take after that point.

Fantastic news, congratulations. I am getting somewhere now it seems, I have been told it's being assessed and some extra info has been asked for so there is progress finally! Hopefully it all comes through soon.

I just don't understand why some get processed before mine.. Mine has been submitted since 31st December and apparently just says Application Received. If it is just in a queue then why are others getting quicker responses? There's nothing strange about my application it's just from the UK. I have no idea how long this is going to take and I'm not handling it very well.

I just realised I got confused by the whole thing and mine was submitted 31st December, I read it as him being submitted on the 27th of December.. whoops. I am very surprised too now, that is insane compared to an extra month for myself.. My MA said it would be about 8 weeks from lodgement when I asked 4 weeks ago

I am UK like TL1. Mine hasn't come back yet but was submitted a few days after TL1's and my details are all the same so fingers crossed it's in the next week or so.

Congrats! Mine in very similar circumstances was submitted 31st of Jan so fingers crossed it's not far behind! Encouring to see applications applied for close to mine being approved now

Thanks for the advice. An immigration agent in Sydney has applied for me so would that be ok? I will double check with them in any case.

Whilst I wait for my 457 application to be processed I am aware I can travel from the UK into Australia on my existing tourist visa however this may have some risk? My e-visitor visa currently allows me to enter until 21 February 2016, I was wondering if I booked a two or three week holiday to see my partner whilst the visa is being processed if I would run into any issues.
