  1. Hi, After having been invited, I realized that some detailed information of education history should have been checked carefully. In the Qualification, I chose "master/bachelor of science, business or technology" as my degree certificates indicated the name of my degrees are "master/bachelor of science of engineering", although my occupation is 263311 that was assessed by EA as telecommunication engineer. So I am wondering if I should have chosen "Master/Bechelor of others"? Would it have essential effect to the visa outcome? Or how do you choose this item if holding engineering degree and occupation? Appreciate if you could share your experience on this. Thanks.
  2. Thanks. Then I can consider to proceed with elodge. I am thinking whether should I take your advice and change the data in the application, or could keep that date, since there's no precise definition in EOI that the education ending date should be the diploma issuing date. This is not like employment period, whose starting and ending date is strictly and explicitly limited via certificate and reference letter. In this case, if CO really cares the few days difference, I will then make further explanation. Does this sound also feasible?
  3. Thank you. That makes me more relieved. That may be a bit obvious since both bachelor and master education ending date were nailed in my memory 3~4 days later than the diplomas issuing date.
  4. Thanks again for the reply CaptainC. Yes, that does not affect claimed points. But I am not sure how to understand "administrative error" ? I assumed that I am the one to blame... It was stated that it should be my obligation to provide correct and true information.
  5. Hi, My current situation is that I have been invited to apply for a 189 visa. In the EOI, the education experiences (Bachelor and Master) starting and ending data was filled based on my memory of the date of leaving university. Now I am preparing the eLodge and find that the diploma issuing data is couple of days earlier than what I have filled in the EOI (Sorry for not carefully checking all the details). So my concern is how should I proceed: Opt 1. Proceed with the application. Explain my understanding of the "From...to..." that the experience ending is based on my memory after 3~4 days of diploma issuing data, if this misalignment is detected by the CO. After all, I personally haven't seen such accurate definition that the ending date should be exactly the diploma issuing date. Opt 2. Submit another new EOI as soon as possible to wait for the next invitation to minimize the risk of refusal. Certainly, the probability of being invited will be smaller with later EOI. Many thanks to whom could give some insights.
  6. Hi CaptainC, I received my invitation in this round. Thanks again.
  7. Thank CaptainC for your reply. I have just received my invitation. Then I think new passport number will no longer be an issue.
  8. Hi, I have been struggling on whether to renew/change my passport recently. Hereby kindly need your advice on this. 1. I recently submitted my EOI. The account was registered by using my current passport. 2. I answered "No" to the question "Does the client have other current passports?" 3. There are currently only two blank pages in my passport, which will be likely to be consumed in the nearly further. So I will apply for a new passport after the current one runs out. My question is: If I change my passport, should I update my EOI immediately (by changing the answer in #2 above) to avoid any inconsistency in the assessment after I got invited? If I do so, is it harmful that the current skillselect account was created by the old passport number? And whether this update will lower my ranking in the skillselect? Thanks in advance for anyone taking time to give some advice.
