Ok guys ... its my turn Just got the good news .... Visa applied 17/07/2015 Approval 08/01/2016 I'm happy but at the same time hoping that all will be well for the rest of ya'll that's waiting ... keep ya head up guys

Hi , my wife and I are in NT after 2 years being in VIC . We got cheated by a MA of almost 10 k and had to leave Aust as soon as possible .. We packed our bags and left to home country ..All our plans of living the dream , starting a family went crashing down ... 2 years later we tried again , this time much research and preparations were done , we are back in NT under RSMS now .. waiting for our visa grant ... My point of relating our story here is .. - Please do your research properly , speak to people who have taken this route .... - Weigh your options , you are not planning to move to MARS , it may not be suitable for kids so maybe husband comes first ? - Other than consulting a MA please go to the Aust embassy and do your own fact finding , you'll be surprised at how much more info you will get (True Story) - Remember you can always lodge your own visa , follow the checklist and speak to the Immi Officer for better clarifications and eligibility .Formalize it via email to keep track of conversation - Last but not the least , think this through and do what your heart desire as Aussie is worth every bit of it ! , i know its rather easier said and done ... hence you can chose to stay where you are and forget about this whole thing

Spot on with the Career bit ... I still believe racial discrimination is looming large in the working environment . Was reading through a MA post on 457 visa and was saddened to see all those hate messages. Scary ....

Guess its just the waiting game then , i Just wish my MA would communicate with us more often than they are currently .....

Last week was my first email to my MA after lodging my visa ... how do i check when was the nomination lodged and my processing center ?

Thanks @Deb22 i hope all the July applicants get their visa in December and move on to August and so on ... I'm ok with the wait as long as i'm informed on whats happening . its called 'managing clients expectation' .... but what ya do ... this is how it is ... Sorry ... typo there , i lodged on 17/07 so its 5 months

Hi all , good day ... another day of hope resumes ! today marks the 5th month ( exactly) from the date of my application . I have yet to hear from immi or my MA on my visa or nomination . Sent an email to MA last week and no response till to date ! its kinda annoying ... all we need is some from of communication to tell us whats going on . Wonder if this is a norm , any experienced suggestions on how to go about this ? Any MA's in this forum that can shed some light into this ?

I applied 17/07 - still no news yet ... based on immi's auto reply ...they are allocating mid july's file .. so even if my file is allocated to a CO this week, i'm assuming it will take a week for a decision to be made ... so i'm expecting either by end of December or early Jan . And looks like VIC processing center is working faster than the rest as ,someone got their PR applied on the 21 /07 . Good news is ... July files are being worked on .... Not so good news is its being worked in December where everything and everyone slows down ....haih...
