Hi All, Moved here in June 2017, got my permanent residency visa in September 2017. I hold two private pension funds in the UK that total up to no more than around 60k GBP right now. I am three years away from being 55 years old and am unsure how this actually affects me. My questions are firstly, can I move my private pension funds to Australia right now? And secondly, should I do this ASAP to avoid some kind of higher taxation after being resident here for six months? Thanks in advance.

Hi Everyone, Moving to Melbourne mid June with an expectation of being granted full residency by September. Once this is done I will be looking to start my own business, does anyone have any recommendations about which one of the big four banks may be best if combining personal and business banking? Hi All, Will be emigrating to Melbourne later this year under the contributory parent scheme (visa class143). As I/we will be effectively buying permanent residency will I be able to start a retail business almost immediately? Secondly, just how big is ebay in Australia? Now enormous in the UK, less so in Europe, what are the pros and cons in Oz? Thanks in advance, Paul.

A quick hello from Brighton, well Hove actually, in Sussex UK. Myself and my wife are looking to move ASAP to the Melbourne area as our daughter, husband and new grandson are based there.
