That's a bit disappointing to hear. Unfortunately with the visa application we can't choose where we can live for the first 2 years so it had to be South Australia due to where Australia said we would be able to go. Hopefully it will improve by the time we arrive.

I have recently passed my skills assessments and my next step to applying for a visa to move to Australia is to get a state sponsorship. One of the areas that are allowing bricklayers to apply for state sponsorship is South Australia. I have been looking online for vacancies for bricklayers but not had much success in finding any. Does anyone know what the current situation is and whether there is a lot of job opportunities in SA for bricklayers. Cheers
